'Freedom Call Voucher' from Tata Indicom

HYDERABAD, INDIA: Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) has announced the release of its Freedom Call Voucher and three color handsets.

The voucher, priced at Rs. 325 and one-month validity, enables unlimited outgoing calls to local (fixed and mobile) Tata phone. The offer is made available for all Tata Indicom circles.

TTSL operates under the brand name of Tata Indicom.

In addition, the telecom operator also launched color handsets Huawei C2285 (Rs. 1499), Haier D1200 (Rs 1799) and Kyocera Topaz (Rs. 1999).

Announcing the launch here on Thursday, Sanjeev Khera, COO – AP Circle, said that the plan will be suitable for heavy users, who form their communities to get maximum value from this offer.

The company is also planning to stretch its reach in Andhra Pradesh with plans to include 127 towns in the state, informed Khera. Currently Tata Indicom covers 350 towns and 9000 villages in Andhra Pradesh.

Tata Indicom has a customer base of 1.8 million in Andhra Pradesh with 1 million added in the last one year, said Khera. The company’s all-India base is over 17.1 million.
