Free insurance cover for Tally 7.2 buyers  

MUMBAI: Tally

Solutions Pvt. Ltd has entered into a business alliance with ICICI Lombard

General Insurance, to offer their new customers a proposition that not

only takes care of the accounting needs of a business, but also protects

it from natural disasters.






Tally 7.2 is now available with free business insurance cover worth Rs. 5
lakhs to all customers who buy and start using the software between

November 1 and December 15, 2005.






According to this programme, Tally and ICICI Lombard will offer Rs. 2 lakh
of property insurance, Rs. 2 lakh of burglary insurance and Rs.1 lakh

insurance for cash in safe.






While talking about the programme, Bharath Gopalakrishnan, president,
Software and Services Group Tally Solutions, said, "Based on research

conducted among our country wide customer base and a significant number of

our new prospects, we realized that the majority of the very small and

small businesses in India are clearly unprepared to meet unforeseen

calamities. These could be caused due to various factors including

climatic conditions, political turmoil or even simply burglary and

fire."
