Foxconn entering education sector

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Foxconn, world's leading manufacturer of computer components and systems, tied-up with China-based games developer, Netdragon Websoft, and investment firm Vision Knight Capital (China) Fund, through its subsidiary, Foxteq Holding to develop tablets for the education sector.

It has been reported that Foxteq has a 45 percent stake in the joint venture, whereas Netdragon and Vision Knight have 49 percent and 6 percent, respectively.

Foxconn will invest a total of $33 million on education sector. The products will initially target China and gradually expand to other countries in Asia.
