Four Soft wins contract from UGL

HYDERABAD, INDIA: Four Soft (4S), a provider in software solutions for transportation and logistics, announced today that Unique Global Logistics Pvt Ltd (UGL) has selected its freight forwarding application 4S eTrans to be implemented across its multiple locations.

UGL caters to the needs of the key industries like Oil and gas, Wind Energy, Marine logistics, Infrastructure & Power. The company concentrates on services with integrated logistic products like end to end project logistics management, freight forwarding, shipping and marine agency services, transportation, custom clearance, equipment management, shore base, port operations, sea and air chartering.

UGL required a ‘real time’, freight forwarding solution to automate and manage its logistics operations at their multiple sites. Four soft’s 4S eTrans is designed to provide UGL with operational and financial control over their day to day cash process of the domestic and international freight movements.

Equipped with an integrated freight accounting module and interface capabilities with external accounting systems, 4S eTrans will provide UGL a scalable and flexible freight management solution.

A web centric Freight Management System, 4S eTrans is capable of handling air, sea, road and multi modal transport services. Built on J2EE platform with a native browser interface, 4S eTrans works across multiple companies / branches and department and helps in giving the hierarchical control over the operations and management control over accounts and reports.
