Four Soft to provide '4S eCustoms' to Unifo

HYDERABAD, INDIA: Four Soft (4S), a provider of software solutions for Logistics and Transportation industry, on Tuesday announced that it has further strengthened its partnership with Chennai-based Unifo solutions to implement its global customs compliance solutions 4S eCustoms.

As per the contract, Unifo would implement Four Soft's web-based customs application 4S eCustoms to its customers, said a press release.

The software will be fully integrated with 4S' existing global logistics control tower application 4S Visilog which was deployed last year. This integration will allow all parties to be synchronized and will be done using 4S electronic data interchange tool 4S eConnect.

“We are glad that our customers are reaping great benefits out of the web based order and workflow management solution, LMERGE, using 4S Visilog leveraging the resonant SaaS Positioning of Unifo,” said U V Krishna Kumar, director, Unifo.

With the confidence in 4S and the systems they provide, Unifo now moves forward to promote its web centric customs compliance system 4S eCustoms to the growing customs needs of the customers in this space, he added.

4S eCustoms is a global customs compliance solution, with plug and play modules for different countries, designed to work in a multilingual environment. It has interface capabilities with all Four Soft enterprise products as well as with other standard ERP applications.

Integration of 4S Visilog with 4S eCustoms will deliver lot of additional benefits to its global customers with respect to real time updates of the declarations and clearance of their shipments, which is one of the key element of the business, he concluded.
