Forrester report pats Satyam

HYDERABAD: Satyam Computer Services is a top player in the Indian vendor consulting market, according to a Forrester Research, Inc. report titled “The Forrester Wave: Indian Vendor Consulting Capabilities, Q4 2005.”

Stephanie Moore, vice-president of IT Services Research Group at Forrester Research wrote, “Satyam has a strong consulting vision and has been able to deliver on both technical and business process consulting requirements.”

Forrester also evaluated Satyam's current offerings and strategy for providing technical and business process consulting services against 20 criteria. The survey found that Satyam's strong skills were especially prevalent in the ERP and technical consulting space.

G B Prabhat, director, Consulting and Enterprise Solutions, Satyam, expressed happiness over the recognition. ”It is immensely gratifying to be recognized by a highly respected research agency such as Forrester.
