The switch was made entirely at the firm’s Chennai development centre and it marks a milestone for the firm.

The C300 has a switching capacity of 1.5 terabits per second of 96 Gigabuts per second per slot, allowing enterprises to expand their networks to support new applications without the cost of a system upgrade. It features HP OpenView ready plugins with XML which makes integrating into existing data centre environments easier.

It continues to expand its research and development facility in Chennai to support its growing product line, including the C300, Terascale E Seriers, S Series of access switches and P Series family of security appliances.
