Force10 to expand its product portfolio

CHENNAI: Force10 Networks today announced that it is leveraging its

research and development facility here to expand its product portfolio as it approaches new markets.

Established last year to extend Force10's software development and testing capabilities, the Chennai facility has more than 60 employees and will continue to add additional engineers throughout 2006 as it expands to chip design and verification.

Prakash Sripathy, director of India operations at Force10, said, "Our Chennai facility enables us to extend that same attention to our growing product line."

In addition to its research and development center, Force10 has also opened a technical assistance center here to provide a higher level of service and support to regional customers. The new technical assistance center is one of four worldwide that provides Force10's customers with 24x7 service and support.
