Fly Mobile launches new model in India

NEW DELHI, INDIA: Fly Mobile, a player in the dual-SIM mobile phones segment in Europe, today announced the launch and availability of its Fly V-180 DS model in India.

Priced at Rs 2539, the new model, which has digital camera and Bluetooth facility, is now available in over 17,000 select mobile retail stores across 145 cities in India, said a press release.

Fly Mobile (India Operations) CEO Prem Kumar said Fly Mobile has broken the price barrier yet again with this new dual-SIM handset.

“We are committed to bring forth technologically innovative products and considering the high quality preferences along with the pockets of the consumers, the Fly V-180 DS handset is priced very reasonably,” he said.

Some of the key features of Fly V-180 DS include video record and play, audio player, wireless FM, FM schedule recording, sound recorder, 1200 mAH battery for 260 hours standby time and 9 hours of talk time, internal memory of 250 kb and expandable memory up to 4GB, phone book that can store 800 contacts, menu and texting in Hindi and English language.

It also has a 1.8" TFT screen with 65k colors, call black listing feature, torch, screen switch effect, USB charging and mass storage (that can be used as a flash drive as and when required), photo caller ID, MMS/WAP/GPRS support and mobile tracker, the release added.
