BANGALORE,INDIA: Fluke networks, a provider in networking services today announced that it has acquired NetAlly product line, an intellectual property of Viola networks.
The purchase would enable Fluke Networks to extend significantly its product lines into VoIP analysis, according to a press release.
“Fluke Networks continues to demonstrate our commitment to customers in the performance management space,” said Paul Caragher, President, Fluke Networks.
“Our prior integrations of the NetFlow Tracker and Visual UpTime product lines, the recent release of Visual Performance Manager 4.0, the addition of key senior management, and now the purchase of NetAlly all combine to give our performance management business the strength in people and product our customers require.”
It would support both enterprise managers and service providers responsible for assuring application, network and VoIP performance.
NetAlly incorporates an active network test approach that is particularly adept at performing pre-deployment network assessments that would complement Fluke Networks’ existing test methodologies, providing a complete picture of voice and data performance in both real time and through historical views, according to the release.
