Florence to offer scholarship

HYDERABAD: Florence Infotech, a Hyderabad-based software development firm is
set to unveil its plans to offer scholarships thorough its portal
www.florencescholar.com, called florencescholar.com.

The portal would provide scholarships to first five students from each school
registered with the portal. The portal is going to be launched within a month.
"Schools will pick five meritorious students and we will provide them the
scholarships for their studies," said Florence managing director GM
Krishna.

At present we have around 25 schools registered with us from all over Andhra
Pradesh and we hope to increase this figure to 100 by the end of this year, he
added.

The firm is also developing a job portal wherein a free service would be
provided to those seeking employment opportunities and online tests will be
conducted for candidates and rating will be provided accordingly.

"The idea is to provide the employers with all the necessary information
regarding the candidates," he added.
