Looks like, 2017 hasn’t changed things much for Flipkart as the India’s largest e-commerce retailer continues to witness executive exits at the top level.

Earlier this month, Saikiran Krishnamurthy, Surojit Chatterjee and Samardeep Subandh put in their papers to leave the company. These resignations were reported merely a day after Tiger Global’s Kalyan Krishnamurthy was named the new CEO of the company and co-founder Binny Bansal was elevated to the position of group CEO.

Additionally, chief administrative officer Nitin Seth was named as the COO with additional charges of Ekart and customer experience besides HR, strategy and corporate functions.

According to the latest reports, two more executives — VP of Engineering — have decided to quit the company which recently appointed a new chief executive officer as part of a management reshuffle.

Citing three Flipkart officials in the know of things, the ET report said that Ashish Agrawal and Hari Vasudev, both senior vice presidents of engineering, have called it quits from the company. While Agrawal joined Flipkart only in last June from Micromax Informatics to lead the engineering team for customer shopping experience, Hari Vasudev has been with Flipkart for about two years, helping transform the e-commerce supply chain through technology.

“The recent restructuring at Flipkart and several management changes along with uncertainty following the falling gross merchandise value are some of the reasons leading to the exit of these people,” one of the officials of the company told ET.

Meanwhile, Flipkart in an official statement has denied any such exit and said

Hari and Ashish are very much part of Flipkart.
