BANGALORE, INDIA: Flickr today announced the availability of Flickr Android App and Photo Session, a new feature which allow users to upload, discover and share photos.

The new Flickr Android App, the photo-sharing site's first native application for Android devices, provides people with a simple way to capture and share beautiful, high-quality photos on the go, said a press release.

Users can snap pictures directly from the app with the innovative shoot & share camera and transform images into artistic snapshots using 10 high-quality filters.

Instant access to the photos they love:

Users have instant access to all of their photos. Whether a user has 20 photos or 20,000, they can scroll through all of them by swiping across the screen and touch the image to view it in full screen, slide-show mode.

Trusted photo experience regardless of where you are:

Flickr takes user privacy and ownership rights into account when building any product. The app's download feature enables people to manage the privacy settings around who can download their images and offers tool for them to flag certain images, said the release.
