The company has appointed a law firm in London and Netherlands to deal with this case. The case would be dealt out of London before moving to the Netherlands. The company says that the charges against Kumar on the grounds of misrepresentation of his employees' visas is a criminal offence.

Rajesh Hukku, Chairman & Managing Director, i-flex solutions said,"We are overwhelmed by the support we have received from our well-wishers. We thank the Indian government, Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Information Technology, NASSCOM, our customers, trade and industry colleagues and the media for their unstinting support and good wishes to i-flex and the family of Senthil Kumar."

Kumar was detained in London on 26th March 2003 on the behest of the Netherlands government. This was following the misrepresentation of visas by 12 of his Indian employees visiting the country for implementing a project in one of the company’s client site. The 12 Indian employees were asked to leave the country.
