PUNE, INDIA: National Grid, UK's energy giant and Zensar Technologies, a provider in software services, today announced its 15 years partnership anniversary.

Dr Ganesh Natarajan, chairman NASSCOM and deputy chairman and managing director, Zensar Technologies received a plaque from Richard Cribb, contract and relationship manager, National Grid, in recognition of the two companies doing business for the past 15 year, said a press release.

Dr Natarajan, said, "We have an excellent relationship with National Grid and are very pleased and proud to have such a prestigious customer for this duration, it is a testament to the efforts of all the Zensar associates who have worked hard to ensure that National Grid's requirements are met."

Richard Cribb, said, "In this competitive market place relationships of this duration are rare, National Grid prides itself on only working with the very best companies in their sector and the fact that we have been here for 15 years says it all."

He added that Zensar has carried out a wide range of IT activities at National Grid, including the transformation of some complex, critical applications and are delighted with the quality of service that they have received.

The statement reported that the 15 years of partnership has evolved to great levels of maturity in engagement, and has also grown into a partnership with CSR. The Muskaan Center would witness its second anniversary this November 2008 in the Yerawada slum in Pune.

The center is funded by a joint Corporate Social Responsibility initiative called Global SpirIT, created by National Grid with its Indian IT partners, Zensar Technologies, Wipro and TCS. The center is operated by the NGO Akanksha and has undertaken the non-formal education of 60 girls in the Community, the release added.
