With over 5 million business users, Google Apps for Business is rapidly becoming one of the leading cloud based solutions for creating, editing and sharing digital documents on any computer or device. The integration of Udocx with Google Drive allows enterprise customers to scan documents into their Google business solution.

Once digitized by Udocx, the documents can be searched, shared and edited from any device that supports Google Drive. Like Google Drive, Udocx is 100 percent cloud based: it does not require any upfront investment in hardware of or software. It provides 'out of the box' integration with scanners and multifunctionals from HP, Sharp, Xerox, Ricoh and Canon.

"In the Nordics, we have seen a massive uptake of cloud based collaboration with tools like Google Drive. Adding documents the 'Google Way', so fully searchable and editable on any device was the missing link," says Daniel Johansson, Product manager, Software & Solutions at Sharp Electronics (Nordic) AB. "We are the first vendor to offer this solution bundled with our secure cloud enabled MFPs."

Udocx converts scanned documents into fully searchable PDF/A files using Optical Character Recognition (OCR). All documents are stored along with the required metadata minimizing the amount of missing or misfiled information. Furthermore, the documents can be automatically integrated into business workflows for efficient companywide collaboration.
