NCI is a provider of information technology (IT), engineering, logistics, and professional services and solutions to U.S. Federal Government agencies. The government contractor started implementing Deltek solutions in July of 2009 after selecting Costpoint as its software of choice over competing products from generic ERP providers, adds a press release.

NCI has grown rapidly over the last several years, and as a result, the company outgrew its existing back-office and front-office software systems. After evaluating numerous software vendors, NCI selected Deltek’s Costpoint product family because the solution suite is purpose-built for government contractors. NCI has almost completed implementing a full suite of products including Deltek Costpoint, Deltek Time & Expense, Deltek Costpoint CRM, and Deltek Performance Management.

NCI is leveraging Costpoint’s deep project-based capabilities to improve indirect cost tracking, streamline its invoicing and accounts receivables processes and drive greater insight into business performance through role-based dashboards.

“After evaluating other vendors, including generic ERP solution providers, Deltek was the optimal software provider that could meet our needs now and into the future,” said Charles Narang, Chairman and CEO of NCI. “Deltek’s broad solution portfolio, deep project-centric capabilities, and unparalleled government contracting expertise make Deltek the perfect strategic partner to power our corporate operations."
