FCS targets 50 p.c. rev growth in FY 10-11

NEW DELHI, INDIA: FCS Software Solution has set the target to clock a revenue of Rs 406 crore by the end of this financial year which is approximately 50 per cent higher than its reported revenue of Rs 271 crore in the last financial year.

The company inaugurated its first international development center in Noida on Wednesday.

“We are now going to increase focus on changing perception of people that lead to under-evaluation of our company. Since FCS is a technology company, we never believed in showing off to the market our capability. Now we increase our communication with stakeholders and publicize the solutions we are developing,” said Dalip Kumar, managing director, FCS Software.

FCS claims to have invested Rs 30 crore in establishing this new facility. FCS currently has a workforce of 200 at this center and has plan to double the headcount by this year-end.

Kumar added that the company has reworked on its strategy and has set ambitious target of approximately 50 per cent growth.

The company expects its infrastructure management segment to contribute maximum of the expected revenue in this financial year.

“In overall pie, we expect maximum contribution to come from infrastructure management segment. We expect it to contribute up to 40 per cent from the current level of 21 per cent. The share of IT consulting in this pie will go down. Education segment is expected to be around its current level of contribution,” said Kumar.

IT consulting business accounted for 42 per cent and education segment of the company at present contributes 37 per cent to its overall revenue.

Kumar mentioned that FCS is aggressively working on education segment and the significant revenue from its education segment product will be seen in the next financial year.

“There are lots of companies that are working on solution for education sector. Most of them are only focusing on higher education content. We are even focusing on small courses which will differentiate FCS in the market place,” said Kumar.

FCS is currently involved in supporting vocational courses in 5 ITIs with Delhi and Haryana government. It has also started a job-oriented certified course with ITI Limited in GSM and telecom technologies.

The company has plan to work aggressively in cloud computing space, data centers and mobile applications too.

This new facility in Noida was inaugurated by Kanti Lal Bhuria, Union Minister for Tribal Affairs, who showed willingness to involve FCS in educational project being run under his ministry for the welfare of tribal people in the country.
