Father of Java to enthrall India

BANGALORE: James Gosling, more popularly known as 'Father of Java' will be visiting India for the first time ever to address a huge community of Java Developers at Sun Microsystems' premier global developer conference, to be held in Hyderabad, on 20^th and 21^st of this month, the theme of which is 'turning ideas into innovation.'

Main focus of this two-day conference will be Enterprise Computing, Open Source Development Methodologies, Mobility and Wireless, Security, Web Services etc. A host of applications, products and solutions will be showcased by Sun Microsystems' partners.

The keynote address will be given by James Gosling, Vice President and Sun Fellow and Stuart Wells, Senior Vice President , Market Development Organization. The main aim of the conference is to provide information and technology solutions that can leave developers challenged and inspired.

The Indian developer community is looking forward to the visit of James Gosling who did the original design of the Java programming language and implemented its original compiler and virtual machine. He is currently a researcher at Sun labs where his primary interest is in software development tools.
