Facebook selects Salesforce.com cloud

BANGALORE, INDIA: Social networking website Facebook will move its CRM activities to Salesforce.com's cloud.

Facebook announced that it will deploy Sales Cloud 2 across its sales operation teams along with its developer relations to automate complex workflow and approval processes.

Marc Benioff, chairman and CEO, salesforce.com, said: "Facebook joins the thousands of companies managing their enterprise sales teams in the cloud, enabling them to focus on their fast growing business rather than the hardware and software to support it."
