Facebook launches Creators app to promote video content

Facebook announced the launch of Facebook Creators app and an accompanying website which is designed to help users create videos. The app is available for iOS with an Android version planned in the coming months.

The Facebook Creator app will allow users to easily create an original video, go live with exclusive features and connect with their community on Facebook - all from their pocket. Facebook gathered feedback from creators and will continue to take cues from the community in an effort to make the Facebook experience fun and easy so they can do what they do best.

"To help creators grow on Facebook, it's important that we continue building tools for them to be successful, which is why I'm really excited about two new updates launching today for creators," Facebook vice president of product Fidji Simo said " href="">on her Facebook page.

Its features include-

a) Live Creative Kit: This helps creators add intros and outros to their live broadcasts, custom live stickers that viewers can use to interact, and graphics frames for branding.

b) Community Tab: This centralizes viewer messages and comments from Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger.

c) Camera & Stories: This feature offers camera effects and frames and enables creators to easily crosspost content to other platforms. Creators can also access Facebook Stories to engage with their fans.

d) Insights: Provides metrics to inform content creation, including analytics about a creator's Page, videos, and fans.

However, the " target="_blank" rel="noopener">Facebook Creators website promises to teach users techniques for creating quality work, provide answers to common questions and offer early access to new tools for creators.
