Facebook is always at work to improve the overall user experience on its platform. Now, the social media giant is testing a feature that allows users to temporarily mute their friends or in other words hide them from appearing in their feed. The feature dubbed as 'Snooze' gives you the option of not seeing posts from the friend, page or group for 24 hours, seven days or 30 days. The feature was first spotted by Josh Constine of TechCrunch.

Snooze isn't available for everyone just yet, which means it may be another random test or slow rollout on Facebook’s part. To access it, click on the three horizontal dots on any friend, group or page that has annoyed you in the past. The Snooze option is clubbed together with the Unfollow option.

Facebook hasn’t officially announced the feature, so there's a chance it might never fully roll out publicly. However, if it does, it could be a great alternative to unfollowing or unfriending people.
