Facebook crosses 1 million active advertisers, thankfully

BANGALORE, INDIA: Facebook has touched the magic mark of one million active advertisers, which not just include bigger businesses and enterprises, but smaller ones as well.

In a post on Facebook's Newsroom, director of small business, Dan Levy, thanked proudly "the over one million businesses", who are active advertisers on Facebook. http://newsroom.fb.com/News/639/One-Million-Thank-Yous

"I know business owners like these invest their hard earned money and time into running their companies. So today, on behalf of everyone at Facebook, I want to say thank you to them and to the over one million businesses like them who are active advertisers," he wrote.

"The more than one million active advertisers on Facebook are real people with stories that inspire us and each other." Then, Levy invites all to share their stories at facebook.com/business/success, "so that you can inspire more entrepreneurs to turn their passions into reality."
