"Our new SOA Center of Innovation combines the best in BEA’s enterprise infrastructure software with leading Application Delivery Networking technologies, and F5 was an obvious choice," said Jay Colavita, Solutions Engineering Director with BEA Government Systems, "We respect the dedication and achievements of F5 in the areas of application security, speed, and accessibility, and believe our customers will be similarly impressed."

The new BEA Center of Innovation, located in McLean, Virginia, combines an SOA demonstration center, collaborative SOA learning environment, and SOA Research and Development Lab. As an extension of the long-standing partnership between F5 and BEA, the SOA Center of Innovation provides mutual and prospective customers with the opportunity to test and evaluate solutions specific to their own business needs.

"We have always been deeply committed to working seamlessly with BEA’s SOA solutions," said Calvin Rowland, Director of Business Development for F5. "It’s an honor to be a core contributor to the BEA Center of Innovation, and we look forward to the opportunity to continue working with BEA customers in both the public and commercial sectors."
