F5 bags Asia Pacific ADC vendor award

BANGALORE, INDIA: F5 Networks, Inc., a provider of Application Delivery Networking, on Thursday announced that it was named the Application Delivery Controller (ADC) Vendor of the Year at the 2011 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific ICT Awards.

F5 was recognized for its ability to provide innovative solutions for enterprise and service providers to build flexible and agile application delivery infrastructures that support evolving business needs, the company claimed in a press release.

The award also recognizes F5 for helping its customers ensure secure, reliable, and fast delivery of applications that ensure the best end-user experience, the release added.

F5’s performance in the ADC segment included significant revenue growth, growth in market share, leadership in product innovation, breadth of products and solutions, major customer wins, as well as business and market strategy, amongst other category-specific criteria..
