User interface will be uniform across all connected devices and operators will be able to offer a personal cloud to customers to save, sync and share digital content.

"The content cloud opens up a tremendous opportunity for operators. Consumers don't want to compromise their cherished content by placing it online in the public space, but are instead seeking a service from their operator, which they value as trustworthy, local and safe," said Samu Konttinen, executive vice president, sales and marketing, F-Secure.

F-Secure Content Anywhere is powered by F-Secure's Content Cloud Platform, which can simultaneously serve as the foundation for a content-centric service ecosystem, with further additions to be announced throughout the year. Content Anywhere will be available through selected operator partners.

"Security is in our DNA, but it is now so much more than just anti-virus. Our entry into the cloud business with Content Anywhere ensures we continue to meet the need of operators in an environment now characterized by uninterrupted online access and an explosion in user generated content," said Christian Fredrikson, president and CEO, F-Secure Corporation.
