Extreme launched Fast Ethernet, Gigabit products

USA: Extreme Networks has released new products on worldwide basis. These are:

Summit X350 Series - the addition to the Summit family that completes the “matrix” of edge functionality (Value and Intelligent Edge) and performance (Fast Ethernet and Gigabit).

BlackDiamond 8800 “c” Series - building upon the successful BlackDiamond 8800 product line that allows customers to scale the capacity of the system to twice that of previous 8800s while also allowing the use of the new “c” Series blades in older chassis -- a huge differentiation for us and a solid "protected investment" proof point.

Summit WM20, Altitude 450/451 .11n Access Points, Altitude 360/361 .11n Outdoor Access Points - a smaller form-factor controller but fully capable addition to our Summit WM line; high speed .11n Access Points fully compliant with PoE power source and ruggedized Access Points for harsh outdoor and hazardous environments.

ExtremeXOS 12.1 & the XML Software Development Kit - allowing partners and customers to develop upon and extend the value of a fully modular and open OS via Web services.
