BURLINGTON, USA: expressor software, provider data integration software has announced the general availability of expressor 3.0 Community Edition, which features a free version of the new data integration application, expressor Studio.

expressor Studio provides wizard driven interface that enables developers to connect to data sources and targets, map data to common business names and types, and design and run complex data flow applications in minutes said a press release.

“I am extremely pleased with the market reception of our new expressor Studio application. Since the start of our Studio public beta program in early November we have had over 1,500 unique users download our product,” said Bob Potter, co-founder and CEO, expressor.

He added, “We will be rolling out significant enhancements to both our community and commercial versions of expressor throughout 2011 and expect to further gain rapid market traction based on our free and affordable expressor 3.x product offerings.”

According to the release, with expressor Studio, expressor software delivers enterprise-class ETL onto the desktop and allows developers to benefit from:

Steve Frechette, VP of Engineering said, "We have included high-performance ODBC drivers for all major relational database management systems in our free Community Edition making it an ideal solution for a variety of projects including database migrations, pre-processing operations such as data quality and data cleansing."
