BANGALORE: Nasscom has ranked the ITeS companies (Call Centre & BPO) in India based on revenues reported in accordance with US’ Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and certified by their auditors as of March 31, 2002. According to the survey, EXL Services has emerged as the front-runner, followed by Daksh eServices and GTL Limited in the second and third place.
The Nasscom ranking is based on the US GAAP format since increasingly Indian IT companies have began reporting revenues in this format due to requirement from the US market. Earlier ranking by Nasscomwas based on revenues reported by these companies to STPI and individual reporting to Nasscom.
