Ex-Novell(India) MD joins Talisma

BANGALORE: Former managing director of Novell Software Development (India) Pvt Ltd, Vikram G Shah, has joined Talisma Corporation as the managing director for their India operations. An industry veteran with over 28 years of experience in IT, Shah's last assignment was as a managing director of a Bangalore based software company, Andiamo Software Systems.

APAC, where he will be responsible for overseeing all business operations for the Asia-Pacific region.

In his role as Managing Director, India, Vikram Shah will oversee all functions based and delivered out of India such as product engineering, professional services and product support. He will also spearhead Talisma’s sales and marketing in the Asia-Pacific region.

Shah has also held some executive management positions at IBM Global Services, Mahindra-British Telecom Ltd. and Tata Unisys Ltd. in Bombay, India where he was responsible for customer-facing functions including sales, product support and professional services.

He is also a member of the Karnataka Chief Minister’s Task Force on Information Technology, Board for IT Education in Karnataka and Chairman of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM), Karnataka.

An alumni of BITS, Pilani, India he completed his Masters in Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley, USA.
