Ex-IBM exec is Infosys Consulting MD

BANGALORE: The recently incorporated consulting arm of Infosys Technologies, Infosys Consulting Inc. has appointed Ming Tsai as its Managing Director.

A 19-year veteran of the industry, Tsai was most recently the Global Retail Industry Head for IBM Business Consulting Services. He was previously IBM's Strategy Consulting Leader for the Distribution Sector (Retail, Consumer Products and Travel and Transportation). He also worked with Boston Consulting Group, Ernst & Young and Mainspring.

According to the company, Tsai will join the core leadership team in growing the company. A quartet of senior executives with cumulative experience of over seventy years at A T Kearney, Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Inc., CGE&Y, Deloitte Consulting, EDS and Mercer teamed with Infosys Technologies Limited with an idea to launch a new business consulting firm that specializes in making companies more competitive.
