ETS: Trucks and fleets loading IT

CLEVELAND: TMW officials have announced that more than 55 companies made significant new investments in TMW software in the first half of the year to strengthen transportation management and asset maintenance processes within their respective organizations. Increasingly, customers are also purchased TMW Optimization solutions along with the company’s enterprise transportation software (ETS).

As a press release conveys, TMW Systems, a developer and supplier of software designed specifically for the transportation services industry, including logistics, trucking and brokerage operations, has seen good adoption in the recent past.

Covenant Transportation, headquartered in Chattanooga, Tenn., selected TMWSuite as the operating platform to be deployed across their entire business. “After a careful and very thorough examination of our fleet and operations requirements, we chose TMW as our enterprise transportation system provider, replacing our own in-house system,” said Eric Whitton, Vice President of Information Technology for Covenant Transportation Group.

Companies initiating or significantly expanding their business relationships with TMW during the first half of calendar 2009 include but are not limited to: Burris Logistics; Covenant Transportation Group, Inc.; Cross Creek Trucking, Inc.; G & D Transportation, Inc.; Gordon Trucking; Guttman Oil Co.; Harris Camden Terminal Equipment; James H.
