ETL is adding to its range of products which provide the highest level of redundancy whilst maintaining and improving quality of signals despite a rapid increase in traffic density.

ETL's new StingRay RF over Fibre 100 series is a high density 1U rack mountable chassis housing 16 hot-swap transmit and receive RF over fibre modules and is designed to be used for short distance links between satellite dishes and the teleport.

"This is the most compact unit of its kind on the market, capable of fitting the greatest number of hot-swap transmit and receive fibre modules in the smallest space," said Dr. Esen Bayar, Technical director of ETL Systems. "We have focussed on excellent module to module isolation and this StingRay fibre chassis helps satellite teleports with transition distances up to 10km."

With 25 years experience in designing award-winning equipment, ETL is recognised internationally for its superior quality and very professional one-to-one service offering. Dedicated in-house engineers specialise in originating innovative RF design concepts, and enhancing existing products.Reliability, resilience, and RF performance are the core customer requirements which drive ETL's product innovation and development.
