The projects are being constructed in North Carolina, the nation's second leading state in terms of solar capacity installed in 2013. Strata Solar, a leading turn-key solar developer will provide Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services for all six projects.

North Carolina has made great strides in solar installations over the past three years, and Strata Solar is one of the nation's leading firms with over 300 MW's of utility scale solar installed during this period. Strata has 300 MW's scheduled for completion in 2014 across over 40 projects in North Carolina, Tennessee and Missouri, and their pipeline currently stands at well over a Gigawatt in seven states.

Dennis She, president and CEO of ET Solar, said: "As North Carolina actively promotes the adoption of solar energy, these projects will contribute towards the state's efforts to diversify its energy mix. We expect these projects to make a significant local impact by providing communities with clean energy and contributing significantly to the states CO2 reduction goals."

Markus Wilhelm, CEO of Strata Solar, said, "Our choice of ET Solar's first in class 300W modules was based on a combination of cost-competitiveness, dependable logistics, and reliable power yield, which offers us the security we expect for our investment."
