eSymmetryx begins operations

BANGALORE: eSymmetryx Technologies, a new company focusing on the emerging

field of Collaborative Product Enterprise (CPE), has been launched in Bangalore.

The company, started by a group of professionals with experience in different

industry domains, will develop customized solutions, based on its digital

foundation suite for vertical market segments such as aviation, aerospace,

automotive, defense, engineering, machine tools and hi-tech manufacturing. The

company’s unique solution will enable enterprises in these industries to

collaborate around every part of a product, providing a single interface and

common platform throughout the product life cycle.

Speaking on the occasion, eSymmetryx CEO Gerard J Rego said, "CPE, with

its part-centric approach, will focus on enabling aerospace, aviation,

automotive, defense, engineering, machine tools and hi-tech industries to bridge

the knowledge gap in the areas of inventory management, supply chain integration

and management, global support of products, spare parts and product relationship

management. CPE gives product enterprises the ability to minimize costs and

maximize returns on investment through efficient deployment of resources, people

and skills centered around a product, dynamically."

eSymmetryx is an iForce partner under the iForce partnership program. As part

of this program, eSymmetryx will use Sun platforms, technologies and support to

address global market opportunities.

eSymmetryx, which has an equity base of Rs 1 crore, plans to raise $1 million

VC funding shortly. The company is in the process of setting up offices in

Germany, South East Asia and USA for customer project support and business

development.
