eSeva to sell VOIP calling cards

Hyderabad: Hyderabad-based Pioneer Online has signed a MoU with eSeva, Government of Andhra Pradesh facilitating the sale of VOIP calling cards and Dialup cards through eSeva counters. Pioneer VOIP cards will be sold through the 350 e-Seva centers Andhra Pradesh and Pioneer Dialup cards will be sold through 32 e-seva centers located in Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

Addressing the media persons on the occasion of signing this MoU, Pioneer Online MD Sreedhar Reddy said, "We are happy to announce the tie-up with eSeva, the service arm of the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. In addition to this, eSeva would also undertake the assignment of collection of Pre-paid VOIP Calling Cards and Dialup payments payable by the customers of Pioneer in Andhra Pradesh through its eSeva centers across the state".

Customers can enter any e-Seva center in Andhra Pradesh and pick up these cards. They have to scratch the card to have their access number and code for initialization. Also the customers can get their access code and number through online payment. 






"With Pioneer Fone cards an international call to USA, Canada will cost Re one, UK/ Singapore / Germany will cost Rs 1.50, Australia will cost Rs 1.75 per minute and is available with a starting price of Rs 75 to Rs 625," added Reddy





Talking on the occasion, IAS, director - eSeva Praven Prakash said, "This agreement would have a validity for one year and will be renewed further on mutual consent, depending on the success and satisfaction of our esteemed customers. This service will be launched all over Andhra Pradesh within next six-eight weeks starting from Hyderabad on February 6, 2004."
