EscrowTech commences India operations

BANGALORE: EscrowTech India, an Indo-US Joint Venture between Global Business Solutions, a Chennai-based IT company and EscrowTech International, Inc., today formally announced the commencement of its India operations.

EscrowTech India will focus on providing professional software and technology escrow services to clients in India. EscrowTech's international clients include Fortune 500 companies, VC Firms, Financial Institutions, Law Firms and Educational Institutions.

Announcing the launch of India operations, Sudhir Ravindran, director, EscrowTech India said, “Our services in India would include Software Escrow, Source Code Escrow, Technology Escrow services, and many other practical solutions for the protection of intellectual property. Other services offered would be Technical Verification, IP Audit Trail, IP Archive, IP Collateral and Investment Protection, IT Evaluation and Testing, and IT Dispute Resolution services”.

Software and Technology escrows protect savvy or prudent licensees, customers and users of software, technology, products and intellectual properties and can be adapted to fit a wide variety of situations and needs.

EscrowTech India's primary offices are located in Chennai. For disaster management, back-up and retention security purposes clients can additionally choose EscrowTech's US 'two site' storage facilities at an additional charge.

Clients choosing this additional facility would have one copy of the Deposit Materials stored in a dedicated, secure and electronically monitored storage facility within the Canopy Data Center Building. A second copy or set of the Deposit Materials is stored in EscrowTech's space within the Perpetual Storage Vault located in Little Cottonwood Canyon near Salt Lake City.

The second vault is located deep within the Rocky Mountains and combines the natural security of solid granite with advanced man-made storage and security technology.
