Ernst & Young, new IT consultant for Andhra

BANGALORE: The government of Andhra Pradesh, has appointed Ernst & Young as the IT consultant for Andhra Pradesh Technology Services (APTS), a government enterprise, to strengthen the functions of the body, and enable it to compete better with Singapore IDA, according to Randeep Sudan, Managing Director, Andhra Pradesh Technology Services.

In this position, Ernst&Young will study and identify various potential areas for the body and create additional revenue sources for APTS.

At present, APTS acts like a one-stop center for procuring IT products for the government departments and agencies.
