A company release said that the award was presented at CTIA's annual MobileCON, which took place on October 16-18 in San Jose, California. The MobITS awards highlight solutions that help IT professionals manage and leverage mobility for more success, effectiveness and efficiency.

Says Elisabetta Romano, vice president and head of OSS and Service Enablement, Business Unit Support Solutions, Ericsson: "Outstanding customer experience is vital to loyalty and marketplace success, but can be challenging to deliver - especially with traditional network-oriented approaches. Ericsson Experience Manager provides a holistic view of service performance that enables operators to more rapidly detect, prioritize, diagnose and prevent service troubles. As a result, subscriber satisfaction is enhanced, driving loyalty and increased uptake in new services."

Ericsson Experience Manager holistically monitors the end-to-end service experience in near real time, based on a service model that intelligently incorporates devices, networks and application servers. The product aggregates and filters data to produce relevant quality information, and flexibly presents it to a variety of users. When integrated by Ericsson's consultants and systems integrators, Ericsson Experience Manager enables smoother service introductions, faster and cheaper trouble response, proactive customer care interactions, and operational intelligence.
