Epson has unveiled the Epson Stylus C45

New Delhi: Epson's Stylus C45 is equipped with a number of features including mobile phone print mode for enhancing mobile phone pictures, web-to-page for auto resizing web pages for printing, print image framer for decorating photographs with frames. It also supports printing in an album format and printing a photo calendar and black ink save mode for emergency printing. The EPSON Stylus C45 includes Epson PhotoQuicker 3.5 photo utility and also supports both Print Image Matching II and Exif 2.21 standard.

The printer features 2880 optimized dpi resolution and delivers up to 12.0 ppm for black text printing and up to 5.4 ppm for color text printing for all-purpose printing requirements. In addition, Epson's variable sized droplet technology allocates different ink droplet sizes for different print conditions to reduce printing time. The printer is compatible with Windows 98, ME, 2000 and XP and supports a USB interface only.

According to the press release, the Epson Stylus C45 offers an array of media support in its driver for more fun and creativity. Using PhotoEnhance mode in the driver, effects like monochrome printing, sepia printing, parchment etc. can be added. Other useful functions found in the driver are print preview, N-up printing, poster printing etc.

Price: The printer will have a list price of Rs 2,999, plus taxes.
