EPSON launches new warranty initiative

NEW DELHI: EPSON, a total digital imaging solutions provider, has announced that they have introduced a new warranty initiative designed to take EPSON's service and support to even higher levels. EPSON has launched the EPSON Express wherein the unlikely event that an EPSON customer finds a fault in a select range of EPSON printers within 30 days of purchase, the product will be replaced with a brand new one.

The offer is currently applicable on the lower end inkjet, dot matrix and laser printers. The warranty offer is at



present available to EPSON customers in New Delhi and will be rolled out in Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Cochin, and Hyderabad within October 2002.

To ensure availability and a swift resolution of customer enquiries, EPSON has set up EPSON Express centers in these cities that will operate from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. from Monday to Saturday. Customers will be attended to within 5 minutes of their arrival and their problems solved within 30 minutes.

Customers need to bring with them proof of purchase as well as the product in its original packing. The models that come under the scope of this warranty scheme include Epson Stylus color Inkjet C20SX, C41SX, SC 680; Epson Dot matrix Printers - LX300+, LQ300+, LX1170, LQ1150 and Epson EPL Laser 5900L.

The EPSON Express is yet another initiative in this direction. The EPSON Express Scheme puts us in direct contact with our customers and channel partners and helps us effectively resolve any problems they might be facing. "

This warranty offer is only applicable to defects in the product and does not extend to damage during transport, improper handling etc. For all short shipment and accessories damages, replacement will be provided for the specific item. After the completion of the 30-day period, the normal EPSON Warranty will be applicable.
