Epson announces two new projectors

BANGALORE: Epson has announced the launch of its EMP-62 and EMP-82 projectors in India.

This pair of projectors offers ease of use and versatile applications in a compact, stylish design and project at brightness levels of up to 2000 lumens.

Both the EMP-62 and EMP-82 are equipped with Epson's proprietary 'Instant Off' feature allowing users to power off and pack up the projector almost instantly, without the necessity of waiting for cool-down compared to traditional projectors.

Epson said in a statement that with the 'Instant Off' feature, these projectors are capable of a four-second startup and an almost zero-second shutdown.

“World-class speed is the key essence in both the Epson EMP-62 and the EMP-82,” according to A K Harish, business manager, Visual Instruments at Epson India. “Add to that, Epson's 3LCD Technology and E-TORL (Epson-Twin Optimize Reflection Lamp), the EPSON EMP-62 and EMP-82 can easily go into any presentation setting and impress with their speedy and high quality performance.”

Specially designed for educational purposes, the EMP-62 and EMP-82 are incorporated with a wide array of connection interfaces that allows up to 2 computers and 2 video sources to be connected simultaneously, empowering users to interchange between multiple sources at the touch of a button on the remote control.

In addition the 'monitor out' and 'audio out' interfaces on the EMP-62 and EMP-82 offer the option to connect to an external monitor or sound system for professional presentation setup.

The Epson EMP-62 and XGA EPSON EMP-82 are available at an MRP of Rs. 75,000/- and Rs. 95,000/- respectively.
