Epicor unveils Epicor 9 for Indian enterprises

MUMBAI, INDIA: Epicor Software Corporation, a provider of business software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, retail and services organizations, on Monday announced the launch of its next-generation enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution Epicor 9 in India.

Epicor 9 redefines the local enterprise business software market by offering an innovative solution that has been built on a technologically advanced infrastructure, said a press release.

With Web 2.0 concepts to provide users a collaborative enterprise business application experience, Epicor delivers an adaptable business architecture that satisfies the needs of enterprise.

In addition, Epicor Enterprise Search has been expanded to allow it to be invoked from almost anywhere, such as within Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint or Excel as well as from a Browser or within the application, delivering essential real-time information when it’s needed and where it’s needed.
