EMC tops list of Voice&Data magazine

NEW DELHI, INDIA: EMC Corporation, a provider in infrastructure solutions, today announced that it has been ranked number one for the fourth consecutive year by Voice&Data magazine in its V&D 100 annual issue, for its services rendered in network storage.

According to V&D census, in 2007-08, EMC grew faster than the overall network storage market in India registering a growth of 51.8 per cent to secure a market share of 22.8 per cent.

The total network storage market grew from Rs 430 crore in the financial year 2004-05 to reach Rs 1,466 crore in 2007-08.

"This is truly a proud moment for us. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers for their continued support over the years. The company today has more than 1,000 customers in the India, a 30-fold increase in the last five years," said, Alok Ohrie, president, EMC India and SAARC.

"All the credit for this achievement goes to the team and our partners for their winning attitude and their unrelenting drive for success," he added.
