EMC tops list of Voice&Data magazine

NEW DELHI, INDIA: EMC Corporation, a provider in infrastructure solutions, today announced that it has been ranked number one for the fourth consecutive year by Voice&Data magazine in its V&D 100 annual issue, for its services rendered in network storage.

According to V&D census, in 2007-08, EMC grew faster than the overall network storage market in India registering a growth of 51.8 per cent to secure a market share of 22.8 per cent.

The total network storage market grew from Rs 430 crore in the financial year 2004-05 to reach Rs 1,466 crore in 2007-08.

The company today has more than 1,000 customers in the India, a 30-fold increase in the last five years," said, Alok Ohrie, president, EMC India and SAARC.
