The case management solution, aimed at government departments and public sector agencies, is easy-to-use and quick-to-deploy.

At the launch, Rajesh Janey, president of EMC India and SAARC, said that government departments are increasingly digit, izing data and recognizing the need to collaborate more closely within their workflow, as is evident from the proposed E-services Delivery Bill and National Data Sharing & Accessibility Policy.

"As government departments deploy more e-based citizen services, it will be important to implement automated case management workflow to speed up service delivery and ensure transparency."

Also, the solution automates key processes in government operations through a configurable Web-based user interface, uniting process and content management, under a common intelligent case management framework.

As a result, users get visibility into business operations for improved service levels, and organizations can manage policies and enable repeatable processes and meet compliances needs, including full audit track capabilities, without disrupting the familiar workflow of government agencies.

Sarv Saravanan, senior vice-president and managing director of EMC Centres of Excellence, said at the event, "With Saksham, we are recognizing unaddressed market challenges and achieving innovative solutions for India from India."
