BANGALORE: EMC Corporation, the leader in automated networked storage, announced today that T Srinivasan, its Country Manager in India since 2000, has resigned from its subsidiary, EMC Information Systems N.V., Indian Branch (“EMC India”) and will continue his responsibilities until his replacement has been found.

Said Steve Coad, General Manager for South Asia, “As the first country manager for India, Srini has built a strong team and a solid foundation for the business over the past three years. We appreciate his contributions and
respect his decision to leave the company for personal reasons. India is one of the fastest growing storage markets in Asia Pacific for EMC, and we will continue to invest in the best talents and storage solutions. Through our strong partner network, we are well positioned to help Indian organizations realize the benefits of automated networked storage.”

Said T Srinivasan, “My stint at EMC India has been extremely challenging and satisfying. Building EMC India from scratch and establishing the brand and its capabilities to address business issues of customers has been very fulfilling. The market has matured a lot in the past three years and EMC India is definitely poised for greater glory.”

EMC is in the process of appointing his successor and will announce the new country manager in due course. During this transition period, all business operations and activities continue to function as usual. When the new
country manager is appointed, EMC India will be relocating its Sales Operations from Bangalore to New Delhi, to take advantage of market dynamics.
