NEW YORK, USA: Data storage major EMC Corp announced that it has bought a privately held Israel-based flash-memory storage products maker, XtremIO, for a reported $430 million all cash deal.

The deal is expected to complement EMC's flash-based systems and software products.

The acquisition is not expected to have any material impact on EMC's earnings per share for fiscal 2012, it said in a statement.
