NEW YOK, USA: Storage services provider EMC Corporation introduced multiple new storage systems and software features — more than 40 new technologies and products in all, including a new family of unified storage systems for SMBs, EMC VNXe (for entry) series.

The VNXe (for entry) series, whose pricing starts at $10,000, is designed specifically for small and medium-sized businesses, department level storage solutions for enterprise, and remote or branch offices.

The new storage solutions consolidate the features and functionality of EMC CLARiiON and EMC Celerra into a single family of unified storage arrays that scale from entry-level to data centre-class systems.
