Elon Musk teases first look of the SpaceX space suit

Elon Musk has revealed the first official photo of the SpaceX space suit on his Instagram. "First picture of SpaceX spacesuit. More in days to follow," he wrote. "Worth noting that this actually works (not a mockup). Already tested to double vacuum pressure. Was incredibly hard to balance aesthetics <sic> and function. Easy to do either separately."

The spacesuit shows a minimal white spacesuit with gray contrast panels and piping. There is American flag marking on the right shoulder. The Verge was the first to spot the space suit photo.

Musk's SpaceX has an ambitious plan to send humans to space by 2025 inside the company's Crew Dragon spacecraft. SpaceX is currently in the process of modifying the Dragon to accommodate a crew.

Musk also promised more to follow in the coming days in terms of spacesuit details. Well, we are waiting with bated breath Musk!
