BANGALORE: Elind Computers Ltd. has received a first round of investment from Intel Capital. Elind is engaged in developing software for the securities industry. According to a release, the investment will help Elind enhance its research and development capabilities, designing new products for the derivatives markets and B2B exchanges and opening a new facility in Bangalore and a sales office in New York.

Elind has its flagship product in STRIDE (Securities Trading in a Distributed Enviroment), which is being implemented for stock exchanges in Europe and Africa.
